Sunday, April 13 (Palm Sunday), 7:30pm. The ECSO will perform a free concert at the Cathedral of St. Patrick in Norwich, CT conducted by ECSO Music Director and Conductor, Toshiyuki Shimada.
The evening will begin with a work by Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus’s Director, Daniel McDavitt, titled “The Prayer of St. Francis”. Following this work will be Mendelssohn’s “Hear My Prayer”, a gorgeous work that will be performed by the ECSO and Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Toshiyuki Shimada. Closing out the evening will be Fauré’s “Requiem Op.48”, a truly special piece that will sound stunning in the Cathedral.

A special concert presented by The Anglican Singers, featuring guitarist Peppino D’Agostino, at 7:00 on May 22 at St. James Episcopal Church, New London. Proceeds from this concert will support the mission of The Anglican Singers, to perpetuate and present the English choral tradition as found in the Anglican service of Choral Evensong.
