The Anglican Singers Present:

“Made in Italy!”

A special concert presented by The Anglican Singers, featuring guitarist Peppino D’Agostino, at 7:00 on May 22 at St. James Episcopal Church, New London. Proceeds from this concert will support the mission of The Anglican Singers, to perpetuate and present the English choral tradition as found in the Anglican service of Choral Evensong.

McIvor Organ Distinguished Artist Series

Friday, May 30, 7:30 pm: Erica Johnson.


Our chapter is a co-sponsor of the MODAS* concert at Calvary Episcopal Church, 27 Church Street, Stonington. Erica Johnson, a Boston-based organist, will be the recitalist, performing on Calvary's Richards, Fowkes & Co. Opus XXIII pipe organ.  

Suggested donation $20.

Sept. 22, 2024 (Sunday) – 3:00 p.m. Opening Convocation – Share a favorite Prelude or Postlude

 United Methodist Church of Gales Ferry – 10 Chapman Lane, Gales Ferry, CT 06335.

 Host – Jake Troy, Organist/Pianist at UMCGF

  • Installation of Officers 
  • Performance by the UMCGF Choir with organ and piano. 
  • Jake will introduce their new 3-manual Allen Organ and all are invited to share a favorite prelude/postlude for organ or piano.  Attendees may play their selection or simply share title/publication.   • Display of 75th Anniversary memorabilia

Performed by Brian Hoffman of Albany, NY – two distinct Multimedia presentations, featuring music of J.S. Bach, the pipe organ, a 13’ wide 4K projection screen, and narration.

Annual Meeting with potluck and a Hymn Sing, along with past Bitgood Scholars performing - 2:00 pm at the Congregational Church of North Stonington UCC located at 89 Main St., North Stonington, CT 06359. (Take Exit 92 from I-95 and follow Route 2 West to Main St.) 

SUMMER– Orgelkids program

 Youth Event – students build the world’s smallest pipe organ

Aug. 8, 2024 – 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at United Methodist Church Gales Ferry

Aug. 14, 2024 – 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at North Stonington Congregational Church UCC


These events were a wonderful sucess - so much fun for the supervising adults and audience as for the young people.  We can't wait to present the Orgelkds kit again!  Be sure to have a peek at all the smiling faces in our photo gallery at the home page :)
